Cefar Easy Touch(TM) Automatic Intensity Adjustment: A major problem with electro stimulation is applying the correct level of Intensity. This is particularly important for unsupervised patient use.

A Complex Issue:
New users of electro stimulation can be cautious and in some cases frightened by stimulation. The body also adapts to a set level of stimulation, particularly in the early stages and you often need to adjust the Intensity to achieve effective stimulation.

By using Cefar Easy Touch the Intensity is automatically adjusted to the optimal level. This unique feature takes the patients profile and the selected treatment program into account.

How Does It Work?:
Having selected the area you wish to treat and applied electrodes, you press AUTO button.

The Primo Pro will gradually increase the Intensity. When the level of stimulation is slightly stronger than the pain you, or your patient, simply re-press the AUTO button. Your patients Intensity level is now set.   

Select program and commence treatment. The Primo Pro will now automatically control and adjust the Intensity levels during your selected program to ensure your patient receives the most effective stimulation.

N.B. Once you or your patient are familiar with the Primo Pro and its capabilities you have the option to manually set and control Intensity levels.

  1. Conventional TeNS (High Frequency Gate Therapy)
    First choice for Acute and Long Term Pain, both Neurogenic and Nociceptive.

  2. Burst TeNS (Low Frequency Endorphins)

  5. Mixed Frequency (Han Stimulation)
    Stimulation frequencies switch every 3 seconds, between 2 Hz and 80 Hz, giving a combination of High and Low Frequency stimulation.

  6. Nausea
    Specially designed for treating nausea. Place the Black electrode on acupuncture point PC5 and the Red on TE5. Effective for both post-operative and chemotherapy induced nausea.

Additional Options

Programming Function: There are 3 Open Slots where you can create your own parameters for individual patients.  You can easily program modulate frequency and pulse duration, and you can also customize frequency and stimulation time for mixed frequency.

Program Lock for Unsupervised Home Treatment: The Primo Pro can be locked to prevent program changing. Useful for home use and patients with limited cognative ability.

Program Pause: You can press P symbol during stimulation and pause the program. If both channels are paused for more than 5 mintues the stimulator automatically turns off.

Compliance to Help you Monitor Unsupervised Use): There are two levels of compliance (1) usage time shown in hours and minutes (can be reset between patients) and (2) total usage time shown in week and hours (cannot be reset).

Large Back Lit Display: Ensures easy viewing.

Two Independent Channels: 2 independent channels with 2 separate timers. You can use 2 different programs at the same time.

Program Guide: Extensive easy to understand information covering different stimulation methods, example indications and electrode placement.

Timer: Preset treatment times - Programs 1-5 and 7 are 30 minutes and Program 6 is 10 minutes.
N.B. You can change timing individually - up to 60 minutes. If no preset timing selected, the stimulator will go on until manually stopped. 

Power Source: Comes with two 1.5 AA batteries. Can also run on rechargeable batteries. Replace battery icon will appear when batteries are almost empty. The stimulator turns off after 5 minutes of inactivity to spare batteries.
